    Abstract2366)            Save
Abstract: This paper constructs a theoretical framework of R&D innovation activities in the value chain perspective, using stochastic frontier model based on Cobb-Douglas production function. We have an empirical study on industrial sector R&D innovation's double-efficiency and affecting factors in China between 2004 and 2009. The study shows: the R&D innovation's conversion efficiency is greater than transformation efficiency, but the transformation efficiency increased, while the conversion efficiency decreased; there is big difference in terms of the R&D innovation's double-efficiency among different industrial sectors in China, and the difference in transformation efficiency continues to expand, while the one in conversion efficiency is shrinking; enterprise size, market competition and FDI promote the R&D innovation's double-efficiency; the state-owned property's inhibition on the R&D innovation is mainly reflected in the conversion part, while R&D investment's promotion on the R&D innovation is only reflected in the transformation part; the introduction of foreign technology could enhance the conversion efficiency, but it slightly blocks the transformation efficiency; China's industrial sectors are weak in digestion, however, the innovation activity has not shown such unfavorable phase as retrograde diffusion of FDI.

    Abstract2254)            Save
Abstract: This paper examines the influence of industrial intellectual property risk on corporate R&D investment, by using the data of listed companies in China from 2007-2009. After measuring the industrial intellectual property risk from three dimensions—infringing tendency, infringing difficulty and litigation possibility, it finds that, infringing tendency is affected by product market characteristic and industrial profit. As infringing tendency grows, as industrial intellectual property risk grows, leading to less corporate R&D investment; as the sub-dimensions of infringing difficulty—the degree of industrial knowledge spillover increases and the imitation cost decreases, the industrial intellectual property risk grows, leading to less corporate R&D investment; and industrial intellectual property risk also grows as industrial litigation possibility increases, playing a negative role in corporate R&D investment.

    Abstract1534)            Save
Abstract: At present, invention has become a major scale for scientific and technological progress of the world. In recent years, the total of invention patent applications and registrations of China has a significant growth trend; however, the proportion of patent applications to registrations has shown low quality of patent applications. Compared with Japan, the core technology of patents is in a relatively weak position; especially the distribution of patent technology has no dominant position. So it is the inevitable requirement to strengthen the position and advantageous distribution of patents' core technology for scientific and technological progress of China.

    Abstract1532)            Save
Abstract: The embeddedness of industrial cluster is regarded as the key factor of affecting enterprise's technological innovation. However, in academic world, it's an open question about the embedded degree that is more conducive to technological innovation. Above the previous research achievements, ‘learning space’ that is considered to be the source of enterprise' knowledge for innovation is put forward, ‘the depth of knowledge’ and ‘the width of knowledge’ is the two dimensions of ‘learning space’. It increases the depth of knowledge that communicate with the enterprises in the cluster, and it increases the width of knowledge that communicate with the enterprises out of the cluster, based on the depth of knowledge and the width of knowledge, the relationship between embeddedness and innovation performance is study through mathematical model and empirical analysis. The results show that the strong ties between enterprises in cluster have both positive and negative effects on technological innovation. Strong ties among enterprises in cluster can increase the depth of knowledge and promote technical innovation on one hand; on the other hand it will reduce the knowledge width and hinder technology innovation. At the end of the paper, some management suggestions are given.

    Abstract1495)            Save
Abstract: Based on logarithm knowledge production function (KPF), classic econometric model, spatial constant – coefficient regression model and spatial varying–coefficient regression model are generally used to study the main innovation units' contributions to innovation output in 29 regionals. The results indicates that, overall, innovation environment, input of enterprise in science and technology and input of technology human resource capital are the main contribution factors. The positive contribution of local government financial support and inputs of high school and R&D institutions in science and technology are not significant, and alliance between enterprise and high school (AEH) even didn't play its role. The positive spatial autocorrelation of innovation output and error interference between regionals are significant, but not the spillover effect. Innovation units' contributions to regional innovation are non-stationary.

Abstract: Based on two-factor theory, human resource management practices can be classified into two categories: hygiene and motivation factors. The empirical study indicates the two factors' impacts on work performance, and the mediating effect of organization attractiveness. Empirical study reaches the following three results: (1) Human resources practices are positive related to organization attractiveness. It indicates that human resource practices play very important role in the process of forming employees' organization attractiveness perception; (2) as opposed to motivation factor, hygiene factor's impacts on work performance is more significant in Chinese enterprises; (3) the positive relationship between the human resource practices and work performance is completely mediated by organization attractiveness.
